  • I have over 18 years experience in Emergency/Disaster Preparedness which includes 6 years with the Vancouver (WA) Fire Department and 13 years with the American Red Cross (2 years as staff...the rest as a volunteer).
  • I have volunteered for the Red Cross and worked in Fire Recovery during the 2007 Wildfires.
  • Other volunteer activities include: District Coordinator for Neighborhood Watch, Community Fair Director for Spirit of the Fourth, volunteer for RB United, RB Historical Society and Fire Safe Council.

  • As a member of the RB Community Council, she is Vice President and a member of the MAD Committee.
  • She has also served as Treasurer and newsletter editor for 2510 Torrey Pines Road HOA and President, Vice President, and newsletter editor for Seven Oaks #2 HOA.
  • Bettyann continues to work part time and her pleasure is her grandchild. With work, family, and community service, Bettyann enjoys a balanced and happy life in Rancho Bernardo.
