Save the date for the most exciting Safety Fair yet! Saturday, September 21, 10 a.m. through 12 p.m. at the Palomar College – Rancho Bernardo Campus 11111 Rancho Bernardo Road. There will be approximately 30 vendors, free finger printing for kids by RSVP, free CPR training (not certification), various police and fire department vehicles to explore, opportunity drawing items, free face painting, games and more!

To top this all off, immediately following the Safety Fair from 12:30 p.m. through 2:00 p.m., we will be holding the second annual First Responder’s Appreciation BBQ/picnic to help recognize all the wonderful fire fighters and police who serve and protect our community. People will have an opportunity to sit and chat with the first responders while enjoying a wonderful BBQ, play some games, and watch a San Diego Police K-9 unit demonstration. Proceeds from the event will be going towards the items for fire station #33 located in Rancho Bernardo.

First Responder’s Appreciation BBQ includes main dish, two sides dishes, drink and dessert. Cost: $9 for adults, $6 children 12 years and younger. Information on how to purchase tickets and flyer will be posted soon, so please check back in August.

While people may purchase tickets day of, for head count purposes and to assure there will be enough food, we encourage people to purchase tickets to the First Responder’s Appreciation BBQ by September 12, 2019.
