The 9th annual Safety Fair and first responder appreciation BBQ/lunch is fast approaching! Save the date - Saturday, September 21, 10 a.m. through 12 p.m. at the Palomar College – Rancho Bernardo Campus 11111 Rancho Bernardo Road. There will be approximately 30 vendors, free finger printing for kids by RSVP, free CPR training (not certification), various police and fire department vehicles to explore, opportunity drawing items, free goody bags while supplies last, free face painting, games, 4 Paws of Love pet therapy dogs, and more! To top this all off, immediately following the Safety Fair from 12:30 p.m. through 2:00 p.m., we will be holding the 2nd annual First Responder’s Appreciation BBQ/picnic to help recognize all the wonderful fire fighters and police who serve and protect our community. People will have an opportunity to sit and chat with the first responders while enjoying a wonderful BBQ/lunch, play some games, and relax. Proceeds from the event this year will be going towards the items for fire station #33 located in Rancho Bernardo.

First Responder’s Appreciation BBQ includes main dish, choice of two side dishes, a non-alcoholic drink and dessert. Cost: $9 for adults, $6 children 12 years and younger. Tickets can be purchased through our PayPal account at
