Prior to moving here in 1997 from Scarsdale, New York, I was a volunteer Captain of the Scarsdale Reserve Police Dep't, a 40 member back up police unit, and a member of The Town Club, an advisory board that advised the mayor on subjects that were important to the town. I have served the Rancho Bernardo community for several years as a member of the RB Community Council, serving on the Traffic and Transportation Committee, the Maintenance Assessment District Committee, and the Public Safety Committee. The RB Community Council helps enhance the quality of life in RB. I wish to continue to help in upholding the high standards as a member of this group. I have been President of The Chateau Bernardo HOA for the last five years and have served in all the board positions for several years prior to that. During that time I became familiar with all the problems a community faces, and our area has maintained a high degree of desireability as an excellent community due to board actions to keep up our standards. Prior to moving to San Diego I was an executive in the Textile Industry in New York for over 30 years. Afte graduating from Indiana University School of Business in 1952 I served in Korea during the war as an Army First Lt. |
